取代現行停車場與主館過長的行人動線,並在人行路徑提供全橋段可遮陽避暑、擋風遮雨的宜人行走路徑。以順應南臺灣夏季酷熱多雨的氣候條件。並使各年齡層均能無障礙使用的通用設計。

In order to adapt climate conditions of southern Taiwan in summer, replacing the existing long and outdoor pedestrian path connecting parking lot and the pavilion to a more confortable passage is necessary. The footbridge provides a pleasant walking experience in the entire bridge section where one can pass through without facing directly the sun, wind and rain. Furthermore, universal design that makes it accessible to all ages.
