在天母士東路的小巷子裡，藏著一棟住著一家六口的獨棟住宅。建築結構為鋼構系統，立面選擇用中灰色調的中空水泥板與玻璃，配合量體的律動感，不僅讓量體在視覺上減輕壓迫感，也讓這棟建築物以一種優雅而簡潔的姿態出現在這個城市裡。立面設計上，藉由許多細節、細部的整合，有意讓收邊的線條看起來更輕、更優雅。

每層樓陽台的位置、寬度與深度上都不同，藉由這些錯落的陽台將平日的生活感延伸到戶外或半戶外，也讓每個樓層之間的家人們都有機會與彼此或鄰居寒暄。這棟房子裡還有一座很特別的樓梯，樓梯的結構從頂貫穿到地面層，卻非常的纖細，讓光與影能藉著樓梯踏板之間灑落到各個樓層。

機能上一樓作為梯廳與停車空間，二樓是全家人能一起聊天聚集的客廳，三到五層樓為房間，頂樓則是一個景觀良好的泡澡空間與大露臺。室內設計的部份，延續了戶外的材料與分割，採用較薄的中空水泥板作為內牆完成面，維持整體空間的語彙。

There is a house lurking in the alley ways of Tian-mu where a family of six resides on Shidong Road. The house is constructed in steel. Its façade is composed of modularized grey cement board and glass panels creating a rhythmic pattern. The choice of materials allows for a building that is elegant and less conspicuous in its urban setting. Through a series of detail designs, we allowed the edge of the building to look lighter and more graceful.

The placement and dimensions of balconies are different on each floor. With these scattered balconies, the family’s daily routine can extend to semi-outdoor or outdoor spaces. Opportunities are created for the family members on different floors to chat and interact with each other and their neighbors. Moreover, there is a special stair in the house that connects from ground floor to roof. While extremely slender, it allows light and shadow to pass from floor to floor though its open stair risers.

In terms of function, the ground floor has a parking space and lobby, the living space is on the second floor, with the bedrooms on the third through fifth floors, and the roof deck has a spa area with good view. The Interior design strategy conforms to the materiality of the architecture, using thinner hollow cement board as interior partition, maintaining a consistent spatial language.
